Honorary Dalby
Annie, a good friend of Stuart's, has always been able
to infuriate him by being able to produce the Star Trek,
one hand, two pairs of fingers Klingon salute,
instantaneously, on demand. Stuart's fingers just
couldn't manage this without manual intervention.
I don't know how this started but Annie at one point
whilst we had taken Dad and Ella to a local pub for
dinner, started showing off how easily she could produce
the salute. Looking for support, Stuart demonstrated the
salute to Dad and Ella to see if they could do it. It was
soon afterwards that Stuart caught Ella giving the
less-well-accepted reverse, two fingered salute in the
centre of a busy dining area. You just can't take her
anywhere!
