First House | Current House

My current house is an early 1980s Barratt house in York. I moved in on Friday 23rd August 2002. It didn't require major renovation but the bathroom and kitchen needed bringing up-to-date. Click here to view pictures of how my house looked when I moved in.

So far my DIY activities have included:

• Garden renovation, front and back.
• Decorated lounge/dining room
• Decorated bedroom #2 (spare/guest bedroom)
• Decorated bedroom #3 (study)
• Decorated bedroom #1 (main bedroom) - installed TV aeriel socket & downlighters in front of fitted cupboards.
• New bathroom - Change layout and replaced original pink suite with modern white one. Fully tiled and new vinyl flooring.
• Replaced dining room window with patio door
• New kitchen including knocking through half of dining room/kitchen dividing wall and re-decorating pantry.
• Created utility area in part of garage.
