How stupid can a robber get?

Rather than leave the security tag behind, he put it in his pocket, and this set off the alarm as he left the store. He was grabbed by a store employee.

5. Two men entered a sandwich bar in Edmonton, Canada, on New Year's Eve and order sandwiches. One pulled a knife and demanded cash.
