Link to BBC time-lapse video showing the whole 9 days worth of re-chalking compressed into just over 1 minute. During the first 36 seconds of the video, the old, dirty, chalk is being removed. Immediately the figure becomes more visible as cleaner chalk underneath is exposed. The first layers of new chalk start being laid at the top of the giant's club from about 14 seconds in. Also notice how the figure becomes much more visible in the afternoons when the sun is shining directly onto the giant. From 36 to 49 seconds this represents the two days when the majority of the people working are members of the WYNTV (Link). I'm in there somewhere! We worked on the torso, nipples, ribs, and giant's left arm and the, errmmm.... the giant's central middle area.
