Somebody on uk-mkivs.net referred me on to your website as it looks like you've previously had exactly the same problem I have with my auto headlight indication (green logo showing on only when lights on outside).

I see the dealer replaced the lighting ECU. Do you have any idea where it is or how much it would have cost you if it had not been under warranty?

Hi Adam,

I'm sorry but I didn't enquire as to where the lighting ECU was or how much a new one would cost. If I get chance I'll dig around and if I find anything out will let you know.

Thanks very much for getting back to me. It's great to see someone else that has actually had this small but niggling problem! Yes if you find out anything on it, please let me know. I did a little research myself and couldn't find anything specific to a lighting ecu. It looks like the lights are controlled within the central electronics module so maybe this is the thing I need replacing. Hmmm, oh well...will keep me busy.
