Stopping Seat Belt Noise

Hi Stuart, Thanks for all the FREE helpful info! I've got a Mark 5 Golf 1.6 FSI Auto. Do you know how to stop the annoying seat belt noise because "its driving me mad?" is there a simple solution? Cheers.

I'm glad to hear that you found my web site useful.
The annoying seat belt noise is only sounding when someone is sat in the seat and has not fastened their seat belt right? If so, it is working correctly but can be turned off quite easily within about 10 minutes or so. A VW dealer will be able to do this for you but they may make a charge. Alternatively, if you know someone who has VCDS (http://www.ross-tech.com/vag-com/index.html) they would be able to do it.
