Stuart's Bosch Tassimo Hot Drinks Machine Forum

Not sure if anyone can help or if my Tassimo machine is finally off to the big coffee dispenser in the sky.

Out of the blue my trusty old T65 has stopped reading discs. I've cleaned the glass (which always worked in the past) I've also tried a thin film of washing up liquid on the window all to no avail.

I've tried multiple discs none of which have worked and I've also tried the cleaning disk. With each and every attempt it just sits displaying 'Identifying your drink' which it can't.

Is there anything else I can try? Any common component that may cause this I can have a go at fixing?

I need my morning cuppa :(

I think you may be right about your Tassimo machine reaching the end of it's days. You sound to have done all the checks possible to get the barcode reader working. Sounds to me like the barcode reader is not the problem but the control circuitry. This is the common component which fails on these machines and it is not worth trying to replace just this component.

Sounds like your morning cuppa is important so time to buy a new machine,
