Hi,
I have VW golf 5 (2009)
The "Service now" message appears on the dashboard and after that the car starts to reset trip indicator (0.0) from time to time. Pressing the 0.0 button resets the trip indicator but also works like minutes button, starts to increase minutes of the clock.
What can be the reason for that behavior and what can I do?

Thanks for your message. That's an interesting problem I've not heard of before. It sounds like it might be a problem with the 0.0 button because, as well as resetting the trip mileage, this can also be used to reset the Service Now indication. See https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=43icgXp66G0 . I'd recommend you get the car's fault codes read and pay particular attention to the Instruments control module.
