Hi,
Thanks for your email. I am glad that you find my web site useful.
Unfortunately I do not have a copy of the VW Golf 5 manual in PDF format. I can however scan a couple of pages for you if you are really stuck for anything in particular.

Thanks for very fast reply. No, there is no need for that. That would make me laze not to type German words into google translate.
I just though you could have one in electronic version. I would enjoy reading it. I googled whole net for the English version for several days but without success(found Russian, German and Spanish version). Can you imagine it?!!
Anyway, once more big THANK YOU from Bosnia.

P.S. Do you know by chance whether is possible to set up that lights are on if you drive over 9mph (something similar is possible with locking doors)? With that I would avoid turning on light before starting engine and also not forgetting to turn it on after I start to drive (light are compulsory by law here in Bosnia).

Hello again,
I do not think you can set the headlights to come on automatically when you go over 9mph. I believe if you drive very fast, say over 80mph, the headlights will come on automatically. Never tried it myself - I do not drive that fast!

Oh, we do not have such safe roads so I could drive so fast. Our smart politicians made our country so poor that we only few kilometres of highway. The reason why I've been thinking about that possibility is: I know that there is possible to turn on light all the time( In VAG or similar programs). But with doing that I would need the have lights ON even if i am waiting for someone with engine turned on. I do not want that. From the other side, I forget to turn ON lights sometimes. Since it is obligatory, I was already fined by police for several times. Suggested option would be Solomon's solution for me, I guess.
All the best in your future work.
