key fob stopped working

Hello, I've got a 2004 54 play MK5. The key fob has now stopped letting me open the drivers door when I press the button. Its only just happended since I had a new stereo fitted. Is there a way of re-programming without going to VW? At the moment I can lock all doors using the fob but have to use the actual key to open the drivers door - pain!

Hi Jay,

Hi Stuart, it turns out I had a faulty door lock, VW replaced it free
as it was under warranty. Thanks
