More tricks?

Hi there,
Nice list of secrets! I have a Golf GT Sport MKV 2008 and am still discovering new features ;) I think you would be interested in a couple of more tricks:
The front wipers are disabled when the bonnet is open.
Pressing and holding the lock or unlock button on the key fob for a while will open or close all windows at the same time.
The supplied manual fits perfectly in the provided slots inside the glove compartment.
The stereo can be turned on even without the car key.
The electric windows will remain operable for about 10seconds after the ignition has been switch off.
For lane change signals, press the indicator switch halfway and it will blink just three times.
R,
Jonathan.

Hi Jonathan,
Thanks for your email.
Unless the latest versions of the Mk V manual has changed, you might be
surprised to learn that all the "tricks" you mention are actually mentioned
in there (and hence why I've not mentioned them on my website).
There's actually a few more tricks than you've mentioned. I won't mention
them now in case you want to discover them yourself.
Finally, I think you'll find that you have longer to use the electric
windows after turning off the ignition (but not removing the key or opening
a door) than 10 seconds. I think it's nearer 2 minutes.
Enjoy your Mk V.
Stuart
