MFD2 Radio Nav

Hi Stuart
Just a query I have a Mk5 Golf with MFD2 Radio Nav but I have a slight niggle if I leave the radio on switch off the ignition leave the car for 10 min's, return switch on the ignition the radio has stopped coming on automatically
Any ideas ?

Hello,
I have not heard of the problem you describe. My Mk V's RCD300 unit
definately does come back on in these circumstances and it sounds as if your
MFD2 unit used to too. I'd mention it to your VW dealer the next time it
goes in to them. Maybe they can "reset" your unit and hopefully that will
resolve the problem.

Hi Stuart,
I removed the the fuse,left it for 20 mins and that did the trick.
Radio now coming on with ignition
