How do your sort out the offside rear window switch causes it to function in reverse. A pain when locking the car remotely?

Hi Keith,
Can you provide more details? What model car do you have?

Hi Stuart
It is now sorted, I was told that it needed the code resetting, whatever that means.
Best wishes
Keith.

Hi Keith,
Most things in a Mk V are controlled by many different electronic control modules. These determine the operation of associated devices. Sounds like your car's electric window control module just needed recoding to function properly. Not sure why it would have lost its coding but a relatively easy fix.
As for your car's traffic noise problem, I've not heard of this issue before. Is the noise coming in around the window or the door? If around the door, check the rubber seal on the underside. These frequently can come unstuck. Also, check the alignment of the door. However that would most likely cause more wind noise than traffic noise.

Hi Stuart,
The door has been realigned, but there still seems to be traffic noise coming from the window area. It is right in my ear every time a car passes and is very annoying.
Many thanks for your kindness in responding to my request.
Keith.
