When pressing remote key to open the windows, if the doors are open the windows will open one by one starting with driver's door,front right,rear left and rear light.If the doors are closed,all windows will go simultaneously.Tested on my '04 Golf MKV

Thanks for telling me about this. Sorry it's taken me a while to get back to
you. I've only just had chance to check.

It doesn't happen with my '04 Golf Mk 5. Mine is a UK SE spec and only has
front electric windows but they go up and down simultaneously irrespective
of whether the doors are open or not. Is your car a UK spec?
