Stuart's Bosch Tassimo Hot Drinks Machine Forum

Hello Stuart, my disc reader glass is so badly clouded on the Tassimo it needs replacing...is this a costly part? I have located it's removal on the disc loader.

I would be surprised if you can buy a replacement part. These machines are not really designed to be repairable. I guess you might be able to buy a used part salvaged from another machine though. I've never done it but I suspect that shouldn’t be too hard.

Are you sure the disc reader is glass? I thought it was more like Perspex. Have you tried sanding it with really fine glass paper? Worth a try?

Yes it is perspex, I think heat may have been responsible over the long term. I'll try & clean again but may call it a day...many thanks again..
