Hi there,
Did you manage to get the chaps from scangauge to do you a deal and post it out to you? How much did it cost you, if you don't mind me asking? I'm not far from the Layerthorpe garage and recently purchased an 04 Golf 1.6 SE FSI from them. Had a few initial problems with them initially but they managed to sort it all out.
I'd love to hear from you as i stumbled across your site and I'm aware that you do visit York quite often for work.
Great to see your to see your site. Quite thorough indeed.
Regards.

Hi,
I just bought it whilst I was in the states. Ordered online, delivered to a US
address and then brought it back home with me. Think it cost about $170 last
year which equated to about £90 then. Don't think there'd be a problem asking
them to ship it direct to the UK.
Glad you liked my site. I hope to update my Mk V pages soon as my car has just turned 3 years old and I've had a fun few days taking it down to Cornwall (where it performed flawlessly).
Enjoy your car,
Stuart

Hello Again,Thanks for the prompt reply. Have you done any new mods or fitted any new gadgets to your car off late? I'm wanting to fit a Satnav sytem in the car but holding out as firstly I don't have the know how to do it and secondly i bet they are quite an expensive purchase.Perhaps I'm better off sticking to my Tomtom on the phone. How has your relationship with Layerthorpe garage been so far? I'm looking forward to seeing your updates on the site.Regards.
