LED lights

I have a 58 plate Golf Estate Sport 2.0 140 bhp 6 gear diesel. You have identified the purpose of the unused gap below the headlights inboard of the turning lights (for "Xenon light" fitting). Can this be used to fit a bank of LEDs? Or what else can be done with it?
Thanks, Mike

Hi Mike,

I have heard of people retro-fitting the sidelights into there and so I'm sure it's possible. If you are going to fit LEDs, remember these draw much less current than usual sidelights and can cause your car's "bulb blown" warning light on the dash to come on.

Hope that helps. Let me know if you have anymore questions,
Stuart

Ok, so can they be wired in parallel with the regular side lights to avoide the warning light?

I imagine so but I think the OEM look is not to keep the original sidelights. Personal choice I guess.
