Really like the info available here. I have a T40 that leaks under the water reservoir but inside the machine. I have checked the caps/pipe etc that you've mentioned elsewhere but they are bone dry. I finally sussed that it leaks even when I dont brew anything. If the water tank is in place and has water in after a couple of hours I have water on the table.
I have looked at how to get the bottom off the machine so I can check the pipe under the tank but before I tried I thought I'd ask your advice about removing it.
Is it clipped and screwed? Is it possible to remove the base?

Glad to hear you like my info on here.

I'd check the seal between the water reservoir and the machine. Perhaps you live in an area with hard water and there is a bit of calcification on the rubber seal. I'm pretty sure this will be the problem. Have a go at cleaning this and let us know how you get on,
