Hi, I have a 2 year old Tassimo T40, unfortunately even after descaling the coffee twice, measures are much smaller and it struggles to froth at the end. I have taken sides off and can see the mechanics inside, and think it make be the pump? Any ideas please as to what I should be looking for, there is some water in the pipe leading to the pump at the top - is this normal, I am a hopeless female and love my coffee machine. Thanks

I have not heard of this problem before. I guess it could be the pump. However, I don't think you'd be able to replace just this. Tassimo machines are not really designed for components to be replaceable. I have just checked in my machine and I think all the pipes are permanently filled with water. i.e. I cannot see any water/air junctions.

Sorry I can't offer any help. If you love your coffee machine I think you may need to go out and buy a replacement.
